Christmas: It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Time to pull out those dusty boxes of decorations from the attic and get to work decking the halls and adding festive details to every corner of your house. You’ve got the tree trimmed and the outdoor Christmas lights plugged in, but when it comes time to layer in the holiday decor, don’t forget the kitchen. Sure, it’s the most utilitarian room in your house, but it’s also the heart of your home and you’ll be spending lots of time there this season, cooking and hanging out with loved ones. So feel free to pile on the Christmas spirit! When planning your kitchen holiday decor, keep in mind that you may want to keep the decorations sparse so they don’t interfere with all of the Christmas baking (cookies! gingerbread! cakes!). But there’s always room for a pretty wreath on the cabinets, a beautiful swag of garland, and some perfectly folded napkins. After the decorations are hung by the range hood with care, you’ll be ready to host guests for a holiday party with delicious appetizers and winter drinks, or just snuggle up in your Christmas pajamas with a mug of hot cocoa and watch a holiday flick around the kitchen table with the family. Whatever makes you happy! It is the season to be jolly after all.
